Bobsled & Skeleton Federation of Nigeria Athlete Tryout
MUST BE PRE-REGISTERED TO TRY OUT
LOCATION: Main Bowl, National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria
Guest Celebrity Hosts:
- Dr. Seun Adigun – Nigeria’s historic women’s bobsled driver, and First African to compete in both the Summer & Winter Olympic Games
- Akwasi Frimpong – First Skeleton Athlete from Ghana, and first black male skeleton athlete from the continent of Africa to compete at the Winter Olympics
Registration: 8:30am
Each athlete checks in for either bobsled or skeleton; MUST BE PRE-REGISTERED
Tryout Testing starts at 10am sharp .
Group will be split into the men and women and every athlete. Women will test first in all events and then the men.
Order of testing:
- Sprint
- Standing Broad Jump
- Shot throw
Demonstrations 1:00pm
Will demonstrate Bobsled & Skeleton with the wooden sleds
“Fastest Pusher” Competition will immediately following demonstration
Awards Ceremony Immediately Following Fastest Pusher Competition
for Male and Female Bobsled & Skeleton Fastest Pusher

MUST BE PRE-REGISTERED TO ATTEND COACHES CLINIC
LOCATION: NOC Building Confrence Room, National Stadium Surulere Lagos Nigeria
2:00pm Registration Begins
Verify and welcoming of guests.
Immediately following Registration Program begins
- Official recognition of NOC members and notable guests from BSFN Officials
- Presentation of Bobsled 101 and Skeleton 101 by Dr. Seun Adigun and Akwasi Frimpong, respectively.
